Tara Posner concentrates her practice on representing victims of carbon monoxide poisoning. Mrs. Posner has gained an in-depth, detailed knowledge of the devastating and long term effects of carbon monoxide poisoning having evaluated and worked with hundreds of persons exposed to this deadly poisonous gas. In addition to her carbon monoxide practice, Mrs. Posner has spent over five years representing children injured by mismanaged labor and delivery, representing persons who were victims of avoidable surgical errors, and representing numerous individuals who were victims of medical fraud including the placement of unnecessary stents. Mrs. Posner has helped to obtain substantial verdicts and settlements for the firm’s clients through her hard work and personal commitment to each of the clients she represents. Mrs. Posner was named a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2014.
Ms. Posner graduated Cum Laude from Columbia University in 2004 with a degree in Economics. While at Columbia, Tara was a member of the Field Hockey Team as well as Columbia University’s first Woman’s Golf Team.
She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2007. While in law school, she interned for the Honorable Ruth Jakubowski of the Circuit Court of Baltimore County and also worked as a judicial extern to the Honorable James S. Otero of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. At the University of Maryland School of Law, Ms. Posner served as President of Maryland Law School’s Women’s Bar Association.
Ms. Posner is licensed in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Florida. She is a member of the American Association for Justice, and the Maryland Association for Justice.
